This key to the boletes of Illinois was developed by Andrew Methven, Professor of Mycology at Eastern Illinois University
| 1. | Stipe lateral to eccentric; tubes decurrent, pores radially elongated; basidiospores subglobose to broadly ellipsoid; associated with Fraxinus. | |
