MDCP Record for 04160404
Collection Date: April 16, 2004
County or City: Union
Collector's Notes: In a bowl with relatively steep slopes, with the bottom of the bowl running northwest. I found only one on the southwest side of the ridge, close to a white ash. Most of the others were near poplars, ashes, and several other species, seemingly at random on the slope. The only 'definite' association I noticed was a string of six, several feet above to several feet below, a small dead white ash. [This specimen] may be a different type [than 04160401-03]. I checked the cap adhesion closely, because it resembled a big half-free. It's not. It has brownish ridges running down from the cap on the side that is turned to the scan, but none on the other side. It's older than the others.
