A single dying elm can produce 160 giant yellows. We took over 162 people morel hunting here this year on a foray. The morels were not nearly as plentiful as they usually are, last year at the same date, there were thousands of morels found but they are slow coming up so far, see soil temperature.This area does not get many half free morels, usually only a handful are picked.
