Apothecia to 2 cm across; astipitate. Hymenium silvery grayish brown; glabrous. Excipular surface brownish with a whitish sheen; finely pubescent. Spores in KOH mount long-elliptical; 17-21.5 X 5 µ; smooth; contents homogeneous.
