Hymenium tan to brown; glabrous, but wrinkled at center. Flesh watery, exuding a clear juice when squeezed. Excipular surface buff to creamy tan; finely pubescent; with scattered brownish fibers; bruising/discoloring a little brownish near margin. Attached to substrate centrally; astipitate. Asci 8-spored; not bluing in Melzer's. Spores in KOH elliptical; smooth; hyaline; with homgeneous contents; about 22 x 11 µ.
